Michelle Clifford MS, LAc, RDH

Michelle Clifford is the owner of Intuitive Wellness and a Connecticut licensed acupuncturist. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture from University of Bridgeport with honors. During her time in the program, Michelle went through rigorous clinical and didactic training alongside other health professionals, learning an integrative approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Michelle has always loved helping people to look and feel their best. Prior to acupuncture, Michelle received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene with honors at University of Bridgeport. She practiced as a dental hygienist for over five years gaining great insight and skill for detail, patient comfort, and a gentle touch. She loves incorporating her dental knowledge into her TMJ pain and Cosmetic acupuncture treatments.

Committed to learning and providing the best in patient care, Michelle takes several continuing education courses yearly and seeks out the highest regarded mentors in her field to continuously improve. Michelle has additional coursework and mentorship in women’s health and fertility as well as cosmetic acupuncture, both of which are of special interest to her.

In her spare time, Michelle loves traveling and being outdoors. She lives in Wilton with her Husband and dogs.


SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed and Board Certified Acupuncturist in Connecticut

3 year Masters Degree from University of Bridgeport in Acupuncture which included eastern and western medicine courses and over 2,000 hours of clinical training.

Bachelors Degree and additional five years experience working in the medical field prior to studying Acupuncture.

Clean Needle Certification; the highest standard in Acupuncture safety.

Additional internships and continuing education completed for Cosmetic Acupuncture, Women’s Health, Pediatrics and Psychosomatic disorders.
